Where to go for vacation?

My family (a 3 year old, a 10 year old, an 11 year old, a 13 year old and my husband and I) live on Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia and would like to go on a vacation, but not somewhere too far away from home. Perferably somewhere within the atlantic provinces. Any suggestions?
