how many tolls are between daytona beach and orlando?
we are renting a beach house in daytona beach but will be making several trips to orlando. wanting to know if its cheaper to pay the tolls or rent the pollpass thing from the rental place. its 6.99 a day from dollar rentacar.
It depends on what way you go. The most direct way to Orlando from Daytona is I-4 which is not a toll road. Orlando itself though does have a lot of toll roads – which you might have to take to get to your final destination. (ie: Gatorland on S. Orange Blossom Trail) Such as the beeline expressway (528 which runs from Orlando to Cocoa), Route 417 and the Florida Turnpike.
However, even if you did have to go on one of those – it’s not that expensive. If you did encounter any tolls – it would more than likely be cheaper than $6.99 rental!
