How do I decorate my condo on a small budget?

I am getting ready to purchase a 3 bedroom condo and I don’t have much money left to do deccorating. How can I make my home look fabulous on a small budget?

My roommate and I had the same problem. We’ve had a lot of luck with Craigslist.com, under “for sale” there is also a free section, furniture etc. I love Ikea, the Goodwill and the Salvation Army. Thrift stores and consignment shops it’s really hit or miss. Freecycle ( a group through yahoo, find yours at freecycle.org) also has a lot of cool stuff that people are giving away. JCPenny has a lot of sales that you can get decent quality stuff on sale at really cheap prices(things like linens, curtains, that sort of thing).Before your condo gets too full, pick the basics, wall color and drapes/curtains. It’s a pain to paint around furniture or have to move it.
