Where are some fun places to go in the Dingle Peninsula and Kerry County in Ireland?
My husband and I are planning a one week vacation this summer and we are highly considering Ireland. I have heard great things about Killarney and Kerry, Dingle, and the surrounding areas. Has anyone toured Ireland in a rental vehicle and have some good suggestions? Places to stay, eat, camp, etc?
My husband and I live in Germany so its not far to travel and jet lag won’t be an issue.
Don’t forget to “do” the Ring of Kerry, 110 miles approx. great scenery etc. Look up Skellig Rocks, ring forts, Gallarus oratory to see how the old folks lived! Great camping and caravan site in Cahirsiveen and all round the ring. Top German hotels in Killarney, you’ll feel quite at home. Also Muckross house and gardens, Torc Waterfall all close to Killarney.
