Dominican Republic?

Well. ..My English is not good, but anyway I want to explain my question.
I want to take vacation. I want to see Dominican Republic but I don’t know exactly which city is better fore good vacation. We are yang cupl and prefer romantic and “yang” please. Please, help me to have a good vacation on this summer.

Punta Cana has beautiful powdery, white sand and great water to swim in, Secrets is a couples only resort, I met a couple who went last year they loved it. I have been to Punta Cana and after reading about La Romana where they brought sand in and it is not as nice and also reading about Puerta Plata which is on the Amber coast the sand and water are just not as nice, I will be taking my 3rd trip to Punta Cana, although snorkeling and other sight seeing may be better in La Romana and Puerta Plata.
