·More social: it is easier for residents to invite friends as guests and use this as an opportunity to strengthen existing bonds or improve their image; this is not possible in a hotel.
So there are differences that set holiday rentals apart from the usual hotel accommodation, and more people, year after year discover this and abandon the usual ‘all inclusive’ hotel solution.
Will this trend continue? By analyzing percentage of seasonal bookings every year during the past three years it looks that the future is promising and the market is likely to grow steadily to a point where a substantial number of holiday makers will shift permanently to vacation rentals and abandon the old hotel tactic.
