The award winning travel magazine included the city in its list of the 20 Best Beaches in America and one of eleven epic beaches on America’s East Coast. Southern living and other travel magazines frequently list the city as a great place to visit. Panama City Beach has miles of white sand beaches and the emerald green waters of the Gulf of Mexico and the St. Andrews Bay. In addition to the beautiful beach, new stores and restaurants are starting to open the Pier Park entertainment district in February 2008.

The city boasts great year round weather with 320 days of sunshine and an average air temperature of 74 degrees and a water temperature of 70 degrees plus.
