I have a question about Disney hotels, or hotels in Orlando?
What are some Disney resorts or resorts/hotels close to disneyworld that allow pets? I have a small dog, and a Guinea Pig. I don’t think the Disney-themed resorts allow animals, but what are some hotels that do? By the way, I don’t care much for hotel chains like Holiday Inn or something like that. And if I was in a hotel, it would have to be close to Disney World. Thanks!
Oh, and it would need to be kind of a nice hotel. Not super expensive though. =D
First… Fort Wilderness allows pets ONLY in your personal vehicle like your motorhome/trailer. The cabins that are available DO NOT allow dogs.
You are correct that the Disney resorts do not allow animals. There are, however kennels at Disney that you can board your animal at. However, you are responsible for taking them out to go potty, etc. And, there is not someone there with them all night, but there is a number to call in case you need to get into your animal. (I don’t like the idea of my animal being unattended… what if there was a fire, etc?)
Just go to Yahoo travel and type in Orlando, Kissimmee or Lake Buena Vista (where WDW techinically is) and see what hotels pop up. Call the ones in your price range and ask if they allow pets. You might be able to find one, but you will probably have to pay a pet fee.
