Where’s a good place to holiday in the UK in November?
I’m planning to go on holiday next month with my girlfriend. I’m thinking perhaps somewhere like a nice village / town in Devon or Cornwall. We like to eat nice food, visit nice pubs etc and it’d be good to have nice walks nearby (and maybe even the sea). Somewhere near Dartmoor?
Given what the weather can be like in November, I wouldn’t book anywhere too far in advance – wait till you get a weather forecast! If this is decent, south coast of Cornwall could be nice. How about Fowey – lots of good restaurants. If you want to be in Devon and day-trip distance to Dartmoor, Dartmouth is lovely and has a warm, sheltered climate.
