Any one been to the Dominican Republic?

My wife and I are going to the Dominican Republic in August to a place called Playa Dorada , anyone been to this place?
Were staying a place called Golden Beach Holiday Village, anyone know this place?
Anyone who has been to the Dominican Republic please let us know if you liked it?

It’s a great choice, it used to be the Jack Tar I believe and when I went to check it out it’s an awesome choice, especially if you have kids. They have optional kids programs which are great! They have 3 pools including a lagoon pool with slides and a wave pool section. It’s beside the golf course if you like golf, and if you don’t have any kids they have an Adults pool/section. You should upgrade to the Royal Suites….grab the Jacuzzi Master suite it’s well worth it!!
