Hi has anyone ever been to Benalmadena – Costa Del Sol – Which is in spain ?

Hi im going on a holiday next year in may to Benalmadena , Costa Del Sol i was wondering if anyone has ever been if you have please tell me what it was like and that cuz im really ex sighted and i want to see what you ppl think of it i doubt i will find anyone but if you have been there was it this holiday village hotel – http://www.firstchoice.co.uk/holidays/costa-del-sol-holidays/benalmadena/holiday-village-costa-del-sol/ if it was then please tell me what the hotel is like too please as i would really be interested to know

I have never been to that hotel, but I’ve been to Costa del Sol. I went in April and it was gorgeous. There are some really fun night clubs along the beach. The only downside is that it’s a tourist trap. I guess if you’re just going there to have a good time that doesn’t matter, but I enjoyed Madrid, Granada, Seville, Cordoba, etc. more because the natives outnumbered the tourists and therefore it was more of a cultural immersion. Don’t get me wrong there are natives that live there, but you’re more likely to see people from the UK, Germany, etc. (Going off of my own experience, of course). If you speak Spanish, be prepared for the extremely thick Andalusian accent! It’s tough to understand if you are used to a more common accent.
