has anyone stayed in seaview holiday village in polperro cornwall?

My auntie,cousin and i did in june. It was awful, the ‘apartment’ was damp, filthy and covered in dead flys. And the rooms were tiny, you could hardly turn around in them.So if you have stayed there and share the same views as me please reply and tell me what you thought. We are currently trying to get a refund, but it’s proving difficult. Thank you.

I live not far from Seaview, I actually work in Polperro, and I sympathise with your plight, as I have relatives who stayed there a couple of years ago, and had the same experience. I can warn you now, that you probably won’t get your money back.

The problem with these holiday parks is that they cannot get staff to clean the caravan’s and apartments,as for some reason holiday accommodation cleaning is a “taboo” job in Cornwall, don’t ask me why, but no-one wants to do it, so the holiday parks are always short staffed. Don’t let the experience put you off, I am sure you will agree with me that the area is outstandingly beautiful, and Cornwall is gorgeous. Next time, rent a cottage, it will cost you a little bit more, but well worth it!!
