What fun things is there to do for free in Orlando Florida?
10 points within 24 hours for whomever can provide the most number of fun and free (or very low cost) things to do in Orlando Florida.
1. Downtown Disney
2. Universal’s CItyWalk
3. Tour Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge and see the animals on the savannah.
4. Tour the Monorail resorts at WDW: Polynesian, Grand Floridian, Contemporary. Great art, beautiful lobbies, ride on the Monorail.
5. Drive East – to the Brevard County Zoo. Admission is free nights in July and August after 5pm, $10.50 adults, $7.50 kids otherwise. Feed giraffes and parrots.
6. Go to Disney’s Boardwalk resort – there are carnival games, street performers, and food vendors.
7. Visit the Disney Wilderness Reserve – 20 miles south of Orlando. $3 adult/$2 youth.
8. Visit the Tri-D Circle Ranch at Disney’s Fort Wilderness – farm animals and the horses that pull trolleys at Magic Kingdom. Free, pony rides $4.
9. Go to Disney’s All Star and Pop Century resorts – they have larger than life icons (including Coke cans and Disney movie stars) that make great photo ops!
10. See a movie at Downtown Disney’s AMC theater on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday before noon for $5 per person.
