Can u recommend a good family vacation spot in cape cod, or other beach location on east coast??? I am looking for a weekly rental (8/4-8/12), family friendly, pets welcome (well behaved and trained yellow lab); prefer beach or lake front location; other area recommendations welcome, as long as they are within 5-6 hr drive of NYC. TYVM in advance for all recommendations.

Deniisport is a family oriented area, so no worries there. It’s on Nantucket sound, so the water is warmer than on the north side. Here are some links.
