ballet dancer at 14 needs help?
this is my first year of ballet since i was about 9. i am in good shape (5’5 110). i am taking two classes a week so far. my ballet teacher always compliments me on my dancing, and says that i can probably go to level two in a year. she is also surprised on how even though i do not have a lot of experience i am learning very fast. how can i get better at ballet? since i am 14 it is hard to find beginner classes. should i take more classes, stretch more, practice at home?
how long would it take to get to pointe?

btw i live in the san diego area.
same deal here. just ask your studio if you can take more ballet classes for technique only. i take 6 classes a week. some that are lower levels some higher. than what i am in. and i dont do the recital i just do then for the technique.
