What is a good resort to stay at while going to Cedar Point?
We will be going on our honeymoon to Cedar Point Theme Park next July. We are looking for a nice resort like the Kalahari possibly to stay at… any suggestions?
Just to let you know, the above answerer doesn’t know exactly what he is talking about, only about 1/2 of what he said is true. Sandusky is a nice, small town (it gets bigger each year), but it does have it’s bad parts of town (like any other town), none of which you will probably get into while on your honeymoon. Another note, there isn’t much to do in Sandusky other than Cedar Point, so if you are planning a 4-day honeymoon, you may run out of things to do (the Lake Erie Islands aren’t that far away and could also be a nice spot to visit as well), but I’m sure you have other things to “do”. Some nice hotels for a honeymoon would be Kalahari Resort, Great Wolf Lodge, Castaway Bay, and Sawmill Creek (in Huron, OH which is 10 minutes away). All of these places I think have honeymoon packages to make your honeymoon romantic and enjoyable. Congratulations in advance and have fun!
