Can someone give me advice about the Smoky Mountains?
I am taking the family to the Smokies in July. We will be taking our grown kids and their hubbys and wives all in their 20′s and also our 10 year old son. Which place is better to visit.. (Gatlinbug or Cherrokee)? Don’t want anyone to get bored! Especially the 10 year old. Also is there any White Water Rafting there? Any info would be appreciated.
Gatlinburg will have more things to do.
I would get a cabin or hotel in that area, then plan to take a day to drive over the mountain to Cherokee. In Cherokee there is a casino and a bear zoo.
Gatlinbug has the aquarium, numerous putt-putts, tons of shopping, and nearby pigeon forge you have Dolly Wood.
