Why do liberals use Mrs. Bushs trip to Africa as justification for Mrs Obamas trip to Spain?

Why are liberals comparing Michelle’s lavish trip to Spain to Laura’s trip to Africa? Michelle took forty friends, rented out a luxury hotel and lived it up for a week. Laura spent her “vacation” time focusing on HIV and Malaria prevention in Africa and took one stupid safari while she was there.

Oh that’s just the tip of the icebertg. The 12k coat commissioned by a UK designer when we’re being told to be frugal and the dollars spent in salaries for her ‘entourage’ unlike any we’ve seen by any first lady.

Most of all, Laura was and is a class act, a lady who can stand up straight and dress appropriately. Laura was and continues to be a warm, kind, decent person.

MO, slumps and for every one picture you have of her looking presentable, you have 20 of her looking like trailer trash or a Walmart Shopper. Most of all, MO is just mean and cares only for herself and barely for her kids (I mean she let her daughter meet the King and Queen of Spain in mismatched rumpled play clothes!!!)

I would like to know if there was any holiday locations, which were close to Sydney (no more than 2 hour drive)
I was planning to go for three days in the Christmas holidays with my family.

I feel depressed, angry, hurt and now guilty for feeling this way. Should I feel guilty?

I was 5yrs when we moved to family farm. My brother moved to another province to work (play) for 8yrs at a holiday resort guiding horseback tours. At 14yrs, I was throwen into the hired hands group (unpaid). Brother married an Eastern Lady moved home to farm. At this point I was given the boot, discluded from everything (he even sold my horse behind my back). His wife moved back East, so he followed. Now his cows are leased out, my father farms organically, I now have two kids; and am being asked if I’ll be around for harvest. All of a sudden it’s a good idea for me to move the kids to the farm house. I don’t have to pay rent, just the utilities ( farm houses really deteriot fast with noone living in them). Brother “thinks” he’ll be back in 5 or 6yrs, once boys “can say where they would like to live”. What should I do? I love the farm, but it tore my heart apart once. I’ve thought about it at least once a day for 15yrs with bittersweet feelings I want it but I don’t.

No you shouldn’t feel guilty for the way you feel.

Say yes but only if you get a say in what takes place on the farm including if or when your brother comes back.
