luxury holiday rentals
Is it a good idea for Obama to be seen in Hawaii in a $9million rental house during a recession?

The media gave us a tour of the house he and his family are staying in – huge luxury in an exotic Pacific location.

Aside from the CO2 produced by numerous jumbo jets and decoys flying halfway around the world, isn’t Obama concerned about the millions of common folk who lost their jobs this year. Did he bring his Kenyan brother or aunt with him to enjoy the luxury?

There’s even talk that Obama wants to purchase the house – doesn’t he make just $400,000/year – where would he get the money? His $million book deal wouldn’t begin to pay for it.

George Bush’s holidays were spent at his ranch purchased from his business successes before he became president, and during a thriving economy.

Mr. Obama has shown himself to be very acrobatic. He is going through life with his head up his own butt.

Questions about the Punta Cana Airport and Dreams Palm Beach?

Greetings! I am taking a solo trip from Salt Lake City, Utah down to Punta Cana next week, and will be staying at the Dreams Palm Beach Punta Cana Resort. I’ve been reading lots of reviews about the place.

Who has stayed there recently? What is the airport like in Punta Cana? Is it safe? Do they rummage through your belongings and steal things out of your suitcase? Is it true, that traveling from Punta Cana back to the States, that you go thru customs right there, instead of when you land on U.S. soil?

Also, what is the dress code for men, at the restaurants at Dreams Palm Beach? Do I have to do the whole “I feel pretty, oh so pretty” thing, or can I get by with wearing nice Jeans, dark-colored sneakers, and a nice polo shirt? (I DO own some “snob attire” (dress slacks, shoes, button-down shirts, ties, etc.) but who wants to get out the iron, or dress so uncomfortably while they’re on vacation? It’s a vacation, not a job interview!)

Thanks!!!!

Eating, you can get by with attire you talk about. Don’t wear a Tee or shorts. The airport is a breeze coming in. Pay the $10 entry fee and walk right in. They don’t check your baggage knowing you came on a plane from the USA. Now leaving is a different story. They x-ray your luggage for the US agriculture and that’s it. You still clear customs on the USA for now. If you are flying out on a Saturday, get to the airport 3.5 hours ahead of your flight. Yep, you heard me right. The area has more that 50 all-inclusive resorts and allot of people go Saturday to Saturday and the crowd is unbelievable on a Saturday. Worst I have seen anywhere and I am well traveled. No formal lines, lots of aircraft leaving between 2PM and 4PM and its just one mass of humans attempting to working their way to the counter. Again if your leaving on Saturday, check in early and go out for lunch or something. By the way, other than the airport issues leaving, I love Punta Cana. Great Beaches and resorts are excellent.
