In Monolithos beach we have two similar well built villas just 30-40 meters away from the sea and next to each other. The both villas can easily accommodate a big family for either holidays or permanent stay. Both villas have a living room, a kitchen and a WC in the ground floor whereas in the first floor three bedrooms and three bathrooms are available. In the ground and first floor spacious balconies exist for spectacular sea view. There is also a basement which can be used as a large storage area. Each villa has individual central heating systems. The major difference between both the villas is that one of them have individual rooms for kitchen and living whereas the other villa has a large room used for both kitchen and living purposes.

A public children’s playground exist approximately 50 meters away from the villas and a few meters after that the organized Monolithos black beach starts. The nearest bus station is about 100 meters away while the capital of Santorini, Fira is only 7 kilometers away (only 10 minutes drive).

Anybody could rent an apartment or hotel stay in a town where they don’t really want to be. For some, a vacation is a vacation – anywhere will do. For others the place has to be perfect

Costa del Sol is a beach area in the southern part of Spain. The area encompasses many small town and several fantastic beaches (of course). It’s a popular resort area for anyone looking to vacation, or even potentially live.

I’ve been able to secure an example of a villa for rent in Costa del Sol. The villa is 5 bedrooms with 5 bathrooms, which makes it ideal for a large family getaway. It comes with its own garden and private swimming pool, and a large terrace for sunbathing and tanning. It can get pretty toasty in Costa del Sol so the villa is equipped with full air-conditioning to keep you cool. The kitchen is large with a breakfast bar that can sit up to 6 persons. The view from the room is astounding as you’ll be able to see northern Africa on a clear day.

Perhaps the most convenient part of the villa, although it has its own pool, is just a two minute walk from the beach. Just two minutes! Equally convenient, the town of La Cala is a mere ten minute walk from the villa and boasts bars, shops, and restaurants too.

Sometimes though, we just want to relax and perhaps watch some TV. Does the villa have that? Of course it does! In fact, it has satellite TV, a DVD player, and a music system as well.

This is just one example of a villa to rent in Costa del Sol but what a fantastic one it is! There are plenty of equal or better value (lesser too and not losing many amenities) which are waiting to be rented as well.

The example we used has a low price of about 2000 dollars in low season and a high of about 4000 dollars in peak season. Low season occurs at the end of October until just before the Christmas holidays. After January 1st the low season picks up again until April. Peak season is between the middle of July until the start of September.

With this knowledge planning a vacation in low season and renting a villa in Costa del Sol should meet the requirements for relaxation.

That is, of course, unless you prefer renting a hotel room a couple miles from your home and calling that a vacation. It’s the same thing right?
