My friend and I were planning to travel to America but it was such a hassle getting her a visa we decided to try somewhere else! I feel sorry for her, shes been in England for 6 years, has a full time job and is properly settled over here but just to apply for one its 150 dollars and an interrogation at the US embassy. And then there’s no guarantee she’l even get one!

Polish citizen holding an e-passport can also be granted visa free stay in Canada. So you probably could also take a several day stop in Canada into consideration before you proceed on to Mexico.
