According to me you should check out Best Bid Vacation Rentals. I have personally used their services for listing my vacation rental homes and properties. I must say that the services that they offered where the best with some the best pricing options. It also allowed to me reach a large number of vacationers search for vacation rentals online.
where is a vacation rental in Florida on the beach, where you can just walk out your door onto the beach?
Preferably in South Florida. Where you walk out your cottage, hotel, directly onto the beach.
Hi there! Your best bet is Owner Direct Vacation Rentals. I’ve been using them for years, and have always found just the right place for my stay. As you can see, there’s lots to choose from. They’re really easy to deal with, you can browse through the vacation homes, and find just the right one, then they’ll put you right in touch with the owner, and you go from there. It’s really easy, and the cost is usually the same or less than a hotel, so I’d say that’s the way to go.

What is the best way to accept credit card payments for my vacation rental home?
I have a rental house on Lake Huron and I would like to be able to accept credit card payments from my renters. This will all be done over the telephone so I have no need for a card swiper. I’m basically looking for the cheapest way to accept electronic payments then refund a deposit.
I would not take the information over the phone. It opens you up to too much liability. Use PayPal or another service where you can email an invoice or a link for the buyer to pay through the service. The buyer does not have to have a PayPal account. The renter can use Visa or Mastercard, and you can refund the deposit after the rental. However, you must make sure that the partial refund is completed within a certain time period (I think 60 days) in order to do the refund.
We’ve used PayPal for several years in order to avoid the monthly minimum fees by some of the processors.
