Yes, the Celts ruin our grand, mesolithic, Stone henge culture, then the Romans came and ruin the Celtic wicker-man burning, human sacrificing culture, and the Saxon came and ruined the Roman villa making and latin speaking culture, before the Norman came and ruin the Saxon culture. Why are the British and Israelis buying stolen land in north Cyprus?
Here are some basic facts:
(1) 1974 – After some internal conflict, Turkey invades the island of Cyprus and occupies more than 1/3 of its land in the north. Greek Cypriots are thrown out of their homes, making them refugees in their own country.
(2) The occupied/stolen properties of the Greek Cypriots are offered to Turkish Cypriots and Turkish immigrants, while the Greek Cypriots are refused the legal ownership of their properties.
(3) 2004 – A huge real estate campaign initiated, involving demolition of the remaining occupied Greek Cypriot houses and building luxury villas in their place, which are sold to foreigners as ‘A dream home in a land of paradise’.
(4) These stolen properties are very popular among the British and Israelis. If the current rate of selling continuous, ALL Greek Cypriot land will be sold without the consent of the legal owners. The UN talks for the reunification of Cyprus barely touch this problem.
