How old do you need to be to book a flight?

Im in Australia travelling to Thailand Phuket soon.

You are supposed to be 18 to book a flight – minors are not allowed to book their own tickets online. But when the ticket is booked, you just have to indicate that the passenger is an adult (18+) and there won’t be any trouble. Honestly, they probably won’t know that it’s not an adult booking the flight. Just be sure to indicate your age at the time of travel.
