Where is a good beach to vacation for cheap on the East Coast?
There will be 2 young couples travelling at the end of August and we want to rent a condo or a beach house. Keep in mind, this is on a budget.
Hi…I would try Myrtle Beach SC. I am looking at Eliotts Realty (they send me their book) and the Waipani (the condo where I want to stay) is 480 a week in the low season which is the 18th thru 25th of Aug and even lower the next week. That is a two bedroom condo of at least oceanview but on the ocean.

Myrtle is very affordable and has great dining, shopping, golf and of course the beach!!!
I usually book at a resort and did so for this year but next year this is for sure what I am doing. I go every year in the spring for a week.
