Hi,we just booked a 14 day vacation at the Sun Village Resort and Spa in Puerto Plata and would like reviews.?

I booked 2 weeks through Cheap Caribbean at a great price because the reviews of the resort all looked pretty good but after I booked I started to see some really bad reviews.I know you can’t please all the people all the time but the reviews are all over the place so I would appreciate some honest feedback.We will be going oct.10th to oct 24th so any info on the weather would also be great!!Thanks so much for your help.

Well in that period of the year (october) I can´t give you any info about the weather (generally it is ok) because my cristal ball just broke. This resort is a nice resort, mostly visited by american tourist, and from my experience it is rather good. I have several friends (tourist) and they told me that it is good in general terms.
As you mentioned in your question, you made a very cheap price, so you can´t expect heaven for nothing…. Depending your lifestyle you can adapt your stay with us and take some time discovering this beautiful side of the island (the best) by doing some excursions-tours.
