Me and my buddys want to go to WIsconsin Dells and we are 17 does anybody know a hotel that would let us in?

Looking for a hotel in Wisconsin Dells that does not care about age, and if I use orbitz do I need to be 18, if anybody can help me I will really appreciate it.

Hi I was a hotel reservations manager for years and you have to be at least 18 to rent a room. By law. Most hotels now days set their own age polices and a most of them require you to be 21 with a credit card. Some online travel sites do not require you to verify your age. So with some creative math yes you can rent a room online however be warned there can be issues. The online sites require you to use a credit card to reserve the room. When you check into the hotel they do ask for the CC and a valid ID. If the name on the reservation, ID and CC do not match they can refuse you the room and charge the CC for the stay or cancellation fee anyway. So you can be out money. Even if the name on the CC matches if you are not 18 or the age of their companies policy they can refuse you the room. That would stink to be on vacation with no room. You do have a couple options. First is there someone that is 21 that could go with you? I know you want to go with your friends, but if a brother, cousin or someone goes it makes it much easier to get the room. Second is to have a parent contact the hotel and speak with the manager. See if they will let the parent reserve the room and use their credit card for the deposit. Some hotels will do this. It does take a little leg work and a willing parent, but hey it gets your room. Some hotels will let the parents rent the room, and use the CC however they will charge it for the whole stay and use it for the deposit. Just as a side note never use your debit card as your CC deposit. When you check into a hotel they pre-approve your debit for a certain amount, the bank will then freeze these funds. They have not come out of your account however you cannot spend that money. Don’t want to be stuck with no cash! Third option is most campsites do not require you to be 18. I know camping can suck, but it gets you to the Dells right. Just something you might want to look into if you cannot get a room. Good Luck and have a great trip!
